Training and Experience Matter!

About Barry Brown

Early Beginnings and Career Evolution

With a very early interest in music and technology, Barry began his career path as a musician in Cleveland, Ohio, “The Heart of Rock and Roll”. Wanting to strive for perfection, he attended Kent State School of Music.

Before beginning his Real Estate Career in 2003, this passion and knowledge led to a 27-year career in sales and management with electronic retail chain stores. Barry used this time to master the skill of hard work, gain a unique understanding of business management, and develop a devotion to client satisfaction.

A Transition to Real Estate

In 1999, a company move brought Barry and his family to the Central Coast. With the skills he mastered, a switch in career to Real Estate was a natural transition for Barry, and he offers a unique home-buying and selling experience.

A REALTOR®, Broker and Salesperson. What is the difference?

A REALTOR® is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and agrees to abide by the association’s standards and uphold its higher Code of Ethics.

A real estate Salesperson is a real estate professional who has taken and passed all of the licensing requirements for the State of California. This is the starting point for most people entering the real estate field. A Salesperson must be employed by a real estate Broker who supervises and manages their activities.

A real estate Broker has additional education and experience required by the State of California. To apply for the license, they must have at least two years of real estate experience, and their employing Broker must verify that experience. Once the Broker license is obtained, they may choose to practice on their own and employ real estate Salespeople whom they are responsible for managing, or they may choose to work under another brokerage, taking advantage of a business reputation and assets that are in place. In this case, the Broker is called an Associate Broker.
Barry is a licensed Broker and a REALTOR®. He delivers the highest possible experience, education, and ethics with this!
